Researchers have found if you gain some basic relationship skills and knowledge before you get married those skills can significantly help you achieve your dream of a happy, healthy lifelong marriage. So if you want to make your marriage dream become a reality we suggest a proactive marriage preparation program to help you gain these basic relationship skills and knowledge. Don't forget to continually gain additional relationship skills and knowledge after you get married. What would have happened to Tiger Woods if after a few basic lessons from his dad he decided he didn't need to learn anything else? Nurturing the marriage of your dreams is a lot like your golf game. If you ever stop improving and fine tuning your marriage, then it will become less and less satisfying over time. We strongly encourage every married couple to participate in some sort of structured "Marriage Enrichment" program every year of their marriage. By doing so you greatly increase the likelihood that you will achieve your dream of a happy, healthy lifelong marriage. We have a section on this web site of special programs for Newly Married Couples; check it out either now, or soon after you are married. The table below lists some of the programs available to help Engaged Couples gain basic relationship skills and knowledge that can help them form and sustain a healthy marriage.
