What is a Community Healthy Marriage Resource Center Website?
A healthy marriage resource center website will act as a clearinghouse of information
about the products and services that are available in a local community to help individuals and couples form and
sustain a healthy marriage. In addition the community marriage resource center websites will also act as a marketing
co-op for local marriage strengthening resource providers.
Why do we need Community Healthy Marriage Resource Center Websites?
Local products and services are currently available in all communities to help
individuals and couples form and sustain healthy marriages. The dilemma is that most people in the community are
not aware they exist. More importantly most people in the community have not made the connection that by gaining
the basic relationship skills and knowledge, taught by these services, they will increase their likelihood of achieving
their dream of forming and sustaining a healthy marriage. Which will also bring them a whole host of benefits that
are associated with healthy marriages to the couple, children and communities.
How will we create Community Healthy Marriage Resource Center Websites?
The websites will be created in four phases that will overlap. The first phase
will involve gathering information about marriage strengthening service providers in the community to place on
the website. The second phase will involve contacting potential advertisers. The third phase will be the most important
and that will be marketing the website to the community. Marketing takes time and money. The money for the marketing
will come from revenue generated from advertising on the website. 100% of fees charged for advertising on the community
healthy marriage resource center websites will be used to market the local website to the community. The fourth
phase will entail updating the website.
We need your help!!!
The most time consuming aspect of this process is in the first phase. We will need
to rely heavily on volunteers and interns to help us track down the existing marriage strengthening services in
local communities. You don't need to have technical web building experience to help out. We will take care of the
technical aspect of it. The minimum requirements are:
Being available for a minimum of 5 hours a week (actual schedule is flexible).

Basic Internet searching skills
Basic word processing skills
Strong desire to help individuals and couples access local marriage strengthening resources
No travel is required to help create these websites across the country
We need your help. We can not do this alone. If you are interested in donating
