Healthy Weight Loss Formula


How do we become overweight in the first place?

Let's pretend this balloon is your body and the air is calories.

The balloon only gets bigger when you blow more air in then you let out.

As the balloon shows the answer to how we become overweight is pretty simple.

We ate more calories than our bodies could use and most bodies convert those extra calories into fat.


Once we have extra pounds of unhealthy fat, what can we do to lose it?

Let's see if the balloon can give us the answer.


The balloon only gets smaller as you let more air out then you put in.

As the balloon shows the answer to weight loss is:

We need to decrease the number of calories going into our bodies and increase the number of calories our bodies use.


Does this sound familiar? That's because doctors and researchers have been saying the same thing over and over for years. Why do they say it? Because it works.

Learning this formula is simple. However, most of us stumble putting this formula into practice over our lifetimes.

Why do we stumble when it is something we want and we know will make us healthier and happier?

Why do we give in to our taste buds when our stomach is already feeling pain from eating too much?

Why do we take the elevator up one floor when we could have walked?

Why do spend hours watching other people exercise on TV instead of exercising ourselves?

Why do listen to ourselves when we say we don't have enough energy to exercise even though over time we will have more energy if we do exercise?

We all feel the same tendencies. It is part of being human. We tend to choose short term rewards even when the long term consequences outweigh those rewards.

We also tend to pass on long term rewards even when they outweigh the short term consequences.

Success comes from overcoming these feelings and taking actions that will help us get what we really want.

Why is it some people can overcome these tendencies but every time we try we fail?

It all boils down to choice. We choose what we put in our mouths. We choose if we are going to exercise or not. We choose if we are going to make it happen or not.

William Ernest Henley wrote “I am the master of my fate:I am the captain of my soul.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote “That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do is increased.”

Given the right tools and good information the difference between those who reach their goals and those who don't is
Persistence.

We will give you the right right tools and good information but we can't give you persistence. That is a quality you will have to pull from deep inside. However, just like your muscles the more you persist the easier it becomes.

The Healthy Marriage Weight Loss Program
TM will give you hundreds of creative, healthy, simple tips to decrease the calories going in and increase the number of calories going out in a healthy, simple way. We will highlight some of these tips in each of the eight sessions. Your job is to choose the tips that are right for you.

The key to successfully losing and keeping weight off depends on your ability to control the ratio of calories going into your body versus calories being used by your body in a healthy manner.

How do you decrease in a healthy manner the number of calories going into your body? More importantly how do you decrease the calories in a way that will work in the short term and the long term?

Do you want to give up the foods that taste great for the rest of your life?


Do you want to suffer at Thanksgiving dinners, birthday parties, buffets, eating out, picnics, etc. as you eat your salad while everyone enjoys everything else?

You don't need to give up eating anything!!! You can still eat everything you want to. All you need to do is implement the most important healthy weight loss tip.
